This work is a conceptual film inspired by the story of my unborn sister, who existed only within my family’s memories. Thinking about how her presence survives solely through others’ narratives, I reflected on the way stories are often incomplete, shaped by selective recollection. To represent a life that exists only through storytelling, I used free-source images and videos collected online. These materials, designed for multiple anonymous uses, are inherently generic and abstract, detached from any single identity or body. Their poetic yet impersonal quality mirrors my sister’s existence, one that drifts on the surface of collective memory rather than being physically experienced. Through this work, I explored how life and death, presence and absence, intertwine within the fragile act of remembering.
